  13. ───────────────────────────
  14. This button marks all the
  15. files and subdirectories
  16. in the active directory.#
  17.  
  18. %02         UNmark All
  19. ───────────────────────────
  20. This button UNmarks all the
  21. files and subdirectories in
  22. the active directory.#
  23.  
  24. %03       Invert Marking
  25. ───────────────────────────
  26. This button inverts the
  27. selection of marked files.
  28.  
  29. Those files who was marked
  30. before pressing the button
  31. will be UNmarked, and the
  32. ones which was not marked
  33. will now be marked.#
  34.  
  35. %04       Extension Mask
  36. ───────────────────────────
  37. This button opens a little
  38. "window" for you to write
  39. an extension. When you have
  40. written an extension, the
  41. program seeks for files
  42. which contain this
  43. extension in the active
  44. directory, and marks all
  45. occurences of files with
  46. this extension.
  47.  
  48. Already marked files will
  49. not get unmarked by this
  50. operation.#
  51.  
  52. %05         Copy Files
  53. ───────────────────────────
  54. This button copy the marked
  55. files and directories in
  56. the active directory to the
  57. inactive directory.

  59. Before it does the action
  60. it asks you if you're
  61. really sure about this. 
  62. Just press the YES button
  63. to start the copying.#

  65. %06         Move Files
  66. ───────────────────────────
  67. This button Moves all the
  68. marked files in the active
  69. directory to the inactive
  70. directory.

  74. really sure about this.

  78. %07        Clone Files
  79. ───────────────────────────
  80. This button Makes a copy of
  81. the marked files in the
  82. same directory, first
  83. prompting for a new name.

  88. %08        Delete Files
  89. ───────────────────────────
  90. This button simply deletes
  91. the marked files or
  92. directories in the active
  93. directory.

  95. First it opens a requester
  96. with some buttons on. Press
  97. YES to delete one file, ALL
  98. to delete all the marked
  99. files automatically, NO to
  100. skip deleting one file and
  101. CANCEL if you don't want to
  102. delete any of the marked
  103. files.#

  105. %09        Rename Files
  106. ───────────────────────────
  107. This button let's you
  108. rename the marked files or
  109. directories in the active
  110. directory prompting for a
  111. new name for each marked
  112. file/directory.#

  114. %10       Make Directory
  115. ───────────────────────────
  116. This button let's you
  117. create a new subdirectory
  118. prompting for a name.#
  119.  
  120. %11    Edit File-attributes
  121. ───────────────────────────
  122. Pressing this button allows
  123. you to change the
  124. attributes of the marked
  125. files in the active
  126. directory. A new "window"
  127. will be opened containing
  128. buttons with the possible
  129. attributes. If an attribute
  130. is set, a cross [x] will
  131. display right after the
  132. attribute-name.
  133.  
  134. Change the attributes by
  135. pressing the buttons, and
  136. then press the SET button.
  137. Press the SET ALL button to
  138. set all the files which are
  139. marked.
  140. Press CANCEL if you don't
  141. want to change the
  142. attributes.#
  143.  
  144. %12         View File
  145. ───────────────────────────
  146. This button let's you view
  147. the marked files in the
  148. active directory.
  149.  
  150. Use Arrows,PageUp and
  151. PageDown to move within the
  152. viewer. Press Esc to exit
  153. the viewer.#
  154.  
  155. %13         Edit File
  156. ───────────────────────────
  157. With this button, you can
  158. edit a text-file.
  159.  
  160. There is no built-in text
  161. editor in COP, so you'll
  162. have to specify where COP
  163. can find an external text-
  164. editor. You do this in the
  165. config-menu.
  166.  
  167. You can for example use the
  168. editor you received
  169. together with DOS, located
  170. in your DOS directory.#
  171.  
  172. %14     Get Directory Sizes
  173. ───────────────────────────
  174. This button counts how many
  175. bytes, subdirectories and
  176. files there are in each
  177. marked directory.#
  178.  
  179. %15         Dos Shell
  180. ───────────────────────────
  181. This button starts a dos
  182. shell. To exit the shell
  183. and return to COP, simply
  184. type <exit> at the dos-
  185. prompt.#
  186.  
  187. %16        Execute File
  188. ───────────────────────────
  189. When you press this button
  190. COP will try to execute the
  191. first marked file in the
  192. active directory. If the
  193. execution was successful,
  194. you will return to COP
  195. after quitting the executed
  196. program. 
  197.  
  198. If you have marked several
  199. files in the active
  200. directory, COP will execute
  201. them one by one.#
  202.  
  203. %17       Configuration
  204. ───────────────────────────
  205. This button opens a new
  206. screen where you can do
  207. some configuration with
  208. COP.#
  209.  
  210. %18       Scroll dir up
  211. ───────────────────────────
  212. If the directory contains
  213. more than 35 files, you
  214. can scroll it upwards by
  215. pressing this button.
  216.  
  217. Use the left mousebutton to
  218. scroll up by one, and the
  219. right button to scroll it
  220. up one page.
  221.  
  222. You can configure this
  223. button to be split, so that
  224. you scroll the left
  225. directory with the left
  226. side of the button, and the
  227. right directory with the
  228. right side of the button.
  229. Do this in the config menu.#
  230.  
  231. %19      Scroll dir down
  232. ───────────────────────────
  233. This button does the same
  234. as the button over, except
  235. this one scrolls the
  236. directory down.
  237.  
  238. Press the button right over
  239. this one to get more
  240. information.#
  241.  
  242. %20     Fresh the display
  243. ───────────────────────────
  244. This button simply redraws
  245. the screen.
  246.  
  247. Use it if the screen by
  248. some reason should get
  249. corrupted.#

  251. %22        Change drive
  252. ───────────────────────────
  253. Pressing this button opens
  254. a small "window" with all
  255. possible drives on.
  256.  
  257. Press the button
  258. containing the drive you
  259. want to enter.#
  260.  
  261. %23            Quit
  262. ───────────────────────────
  263. Pressing this button quits
  264. COP immediately.

  266. You can also use the <Esc>
  267. key at your keyboard.#

  271. This is the "about" button.

  277. This button copy the left
  278. directory and all the
  279. markings over to the right

  287. This button exchanges the
  288. directories.

  290. The left directory will be
  291. moved to the right side,
  292. and the right directory
  293. will be moved to the left

  298. This button copy the right
  299. directory and all the
  300. markings over to the left

  485. This button lets you link
  486. two files together into one
  487. file.

  493. there are several files
  494. marked in one or both dir-
  495. ectories, it will take the
  496. first marked file in each
  497. directory.
  498.  
  499. Before it does anything,
  500. you'll have to type a name
  501. for the new file.

  503. Note: It will always link
  504. the file in the INactive
  505. directory to the bottom of
  506. the file in the active dir-
  507. ectory, and the linked file
  508. will be located in the
  509. active directory.#
